Greetings from Votivo.
Bob Caldwell, Jr, Executive Vice President of Votivo
Our family owns Votivo and has been involved in the fragrance industry for over 25 years. Growing up in the fragrance business I developed an appreciation for fragrance at an early age. Needless to say, I’ve smelled a few fragrances over the years! Though I like all of our fragrances, I’ve never really had an overwhelming favorite. That is, until Amberwood came along, one of our newest fragrances in Votivo.
Amberwood is a wonderfully smooth fragrance. It’s a well-balanced blend of delicate tea notes coupled with the warmth of sandalwood, amber, musk, and clove; lurking deep in the background is the faint hint of a smoky tobacco note or two. The fragrance is incredibly rich, full of complexity and depth, yet it doesn’t leave me searching for a point of familiarity. The fragrance is simply full of mystique and quite memorable!
My wife and I burn an Amberwood candle nearly every evening in our home. When we travel, we take one with us. It has definitely become our all-time favorite candle fragrance.
Do you have a favorite Votivo fragrance – one that keeps drawing you back for more? I’d love to hear about it. How did you discover it? What makes it your favorite? I’ll share a free candle in my favorite fragrance, Amberwood, with the first twenty people who share their favorite fragrance with us! Just send your favorites to vtmarket@gracemg.com and we will get your candle sent out ASAP!

Although I enjoy many of your Votivo scents, I would have to say that Red Currant is my favorite. I have also given it to many people as gifts and they love it too. I would love to win one of your Amberwood candles.

I love, love, LOVE the Tuberosa scent! I burn this candle just about every night. It’s pure, simple, and defined as the scent of Peace for me.

I was absolutely thrilled when I came across your company. I love candles, and have them all over my home. I fell in love with Red Currant. There is something about the fragrance that just makes me feel “good”, no matter what type of mood I had been in. Its very special, as are many other of your fragrances – but, that is my current favorite – (no pun itended).

I had a hard time picking out my favorite as I love them all, but I absolutely love Champaca. It’s very relaxing and just makes my home smell like heaven.

My definite favorites are Red Currant and Anjou Pear. They both have a sweet aroma that scent up the entire place, and they burn for forever. Ever since I discovered Votivo, they have pretty much been the only candles that I ever burn due to their high quality and wonderful scents. I also like how all the candles are the same color. You can focus on the scent without being distracted by some strange color.

I LOVE Black Ginger, Gingersnap, Palm Beech Breeze, & White Ocean Sands. Red Currant is wonderful too! Hard to find Palm Beach Breeze…but it is a delightful clean scent Cant wait to smell Amberwood =)

Favorite? Hard to choose. But, in the final analyis, I’ll go with Vanilla Grapefruit. It’s very clean and refreshing.

My best girlfriend introduced me to the sexy, classy scent of Red Currant, the smell is smooth – like a full bodied red wine. The aroma of red currant paired with good friends, great wine, and sounds of a guitar makes any occasion something to remember!

My favorite is Winter Solstice. It was a gift and I keep it beside my favorite reading chair. I love the slightly spicy scent.

Tomato Leaf is the family favorite during the summer months. Moroccan Fig is the candle for fall through spring. You can burn Moroccan Fig in every room unlike something more floral which does not belong near food. Very versatile and sexy. P.S. My girls love the boxes for their treasures!

My favorite is Christmas sage no 78. It magically feels the air and turns every room into Christmas. I cannot find it this year and hope to get some help on were to purchace it on line. We have several get togethers during the holidays and everybody loves the sent. Any help would be most helpful. Somtime almost impossible to feel like Christmas living in the South, walking into a room from 90 degree weather, Christmas Sage sets the tone for the Holidays to any one luck enough to be able to catch a note of such a unique sent.

I love the Blackberry basil spray, and have searched the internet to buy some
but no one seems to have any. I love the candle as well, but the spray was awesome. Please let me know if it is still available anywhere. I will buy a case of it!
Thanks so much,
Kendall

Hi Kendall! Blackberry Basil is amazing! We have double checked our inventory but there is no more Blackberry Basil Room Mist. Sorry! Within the Room Mist offerings you may want to give Red Currant a try. Thanks for your comment.

I am a Tuberose addict. Red Currant is a perennial favorite, but I am going through a phase where I can not get enough of the rosey but sensual scent. However, I am very impressed by the throw of the new Joie de Noel in the new Christamas collection. I can smell it every time that I open the door to my home, and have not even burned it yet.
